[ ender is used to having no information other than what he is able to gather himself. he is also used to not relying on others. when he stops coughing up fluids, he takes in his surroundings and draws the obvious conclusions in an attempt to fill the blank in his memory - not battle school. they wouldn't have moved him anywhere, not yet; he just got his army, he's barely ten years old. almost everyone here is an adult. most interestingly, there is an obvious routine.

he skips the showers, and goes to the numbered lockers instead; a quick check, and he finds his own tattoo, followed by his own locker. he slips the suit on without fuss. being naked in an unfamiliar place and situation, where everyone else is clothed - more than just making him vulnerable, it makes him look too vulnerable. dressing isn't a sign of weakness or discomfort, either. he's only following the pattern established by the others.

nothing in his locker but a suit (standard, by the looks of things, so it's crew uniform), and ender has used up all of the information available to him without venturing upwards in the lifts. he isn't exactly eager to go from unfamiliar territory to even more unfamiliar territory, so it might be best to establish his situation here, where he can at least get some idea of what to expect. he looks around at the crowds of people and feels a brief sting of annoyance. if this is all another game—

Well, as it turns out, it was not the heat of the moment. The absence of the tune leaves him picking at his ear, flinching back when the gesture is welcomed with an actual result.

Goo.

Disgusting.

Slimy.

G o o.

It just settles in a chain-reaction—hovering a hand and letting the substance drip, furrowing his brows; eyes wandering for the briefest moment to realize he's going more than commando, mouth gaping; his audible "no, no, no" to complete the look of a large woodland creature losing his footing and complete cool. Not so graceful when you're thrown in the middle of... well, where is he?

Not even close to what he temporarily could call home, the lack of everything that could resemble his previous situation. There was the annoying muffle of instruments, the gargle of water, pig in a poke, hot sauce, "Sam Winchester keeps a ruler near the bed and every morning when he wakes up–okay, enough!"

Fun times for all—but then nothing. The rules have been shredded, he's back to square one on Candyland and he wants nothing more than Candy Castle to go up in flames. The unbearable frustration just restacked with something new. And off. Completely off and tumbling away from any sense of logic and reality.

And as far as Sam Winchester knows, it's still Tuesday. ]

[ Nothing about this place is familiar. From the tube down her throat to the goo she's covered in to the crisp metal lines of the room, there's absolutely nothing that looks even remotely similar to anything in the Midlands, and that has Kahlan's heart racing faster than she's ever felt before.

Anyone who decides to approach her should probably do so with some pretty serious caution; if she feels more threatened than she already does, she'll confess someone. And that's not something anyone on board will likely want to deal with. ]

ooc: ALSO Kahlan as the ability to know whether your character is telling the truth or not. If you're okay with her doing that, let me know! Otherwise we'll say space messed with her powers or some shit.
