I could offer Firo for being compelled--he definitely wouldn't be happy when he realized what was going on, which could certainly lead to some unease between them, if that's what you're aiming for.

Yesssssssss unease would be stellar, even with someone he doesn't know super well. I know jack about Firo's canon other than what you have listed in your post, but even if he isn't sensitive to compulsion magic or anything, we could swing it that he'd realize he was doing something he wouldn't normally do. And we could maybe have a three-way thing with AJ if you want to hit two birds with one stone.

There isn't anything like that in his world (aside from a homunculus's creator ordering it around, maybe), but would it be plausible for a compelled person to look back at what they've just done and think something's fishy? Not that he'd jump to magic right away.

Three-way thing sounds good to me if Dray's all right with that!

We can definitely make it work that way! Most folks in his world might look back and think something was odd about their behavior, but unless they were magically inclined, would probably shrug it off as an impulsive decision on their part and not question it much further. Since we've got magic-users running around and AJ would definitely know something is up, we could totally hit the "looking back, Firo figured out something was wrong as hell" approach.

Sounds like Dray is down (and maybe even Rev?)! Going to ping folks to this thread so we can make more plans. o7 Probably should save this for after some of the dust has settled with the newcomers.
