[ riddle, enigma, taco. don't hurt yourself trying to fathom this one out. river's spent years trying, trying harder now with a new stretch of the black trailing behind her. ]

Can't see. Don't look. Eyes closed.

[ and they are, for now - just closes her eyes and turns around ( not the medbay, can't see that either ) to maybe creep around the lockers for a bit . . .

[ Eyes closed. Okay, that's good. Crazy can go wander off however much she wants; he's going to take a shower.

Of course, he gets done and he's a little surprised that she's not out there. But it doesn't bother him; Jayne goes to find the locker that matches his new tattoo, opening it up and ignoring the jumpsuit in favor of a t-shirt and one of his pairs of pants. He doesn't have a lot of his weapons, but he's got his big hunting knife, Vera, and a few smaller handguns. That's enough. ]

[ He takes the comm device, which looks a bit ridiculous in his hands; tiny, like it'll break. Then again, River looks like she could break if you handled her wrong, too, and that ain't so.
