Personality: sort of hitting an in between note of first class and days of future past for those that means anything to. for those that know nothing, john snurr: charles is an almost 40-year-old english guy who comes across as his scottish actor's send up of english guys, but has loosened up quite a lot in the last 10 years in the form of excess drinking and smoking and occasional swearing. he is someone that has held onto a lot of bitterness and anger and its affected his personality, but lately, he is in the process of handling it like a mature adult and tends to either repress it or focus outward and on other people. his driving motivation is unbridled optimism which he doesn't wear very publicly any more at all but sometimes peeks through all the scruff. being a telepath dictates his interactions with people strongly, for the better and for the worst.

Common haunts around the camp or in the jungle: he has a jungle laboratory!! the description of which i will find a place to put, some time, but it's very... jungly. mostly open, but sheltered in plastic sheeting, with a smaller tent attached for storing equipment. and by 'he has' i mean he willed one into being but any scientifically minded or curious person may utilise it. it's very low budget but it tries hard.

otherwise, he shares a tent with his labrador and magneto and can be seen around and about.

What have they been doing with their time? sciencing. he does a light amount of foraging, but usually in the company of others. occasional solo walks with dog. probably makes acquaintances with the original tq crew. it is probably starkly obvious to anyone who knew him that he is a lot less physically active than he used to be on board.

Current people they hang out with: his labrador and magneto. mystique gets visited with/hung out with daily. imposes on much of his old cr, such as milagros and emma, and not remus apparently because he is mad at him. suffered some disconnect with those beyond the inner circle due to a slightly lonely traumatic week of half-memories, so reconnection would be good, such as dog walking with kate bishop. is developing some kind of weird pact cr with iezabel, and made acquaintances with david 8 (internal screaming).

Looking for: continued re-establishment of cr, esp people i haven't gotten around to tagging with -- both recent and old! and completely new cr is literally always welcome.
Any future plans for them? when we get a proper network, charles will talk science.
Anything else: He Has Telepathy, in case you didn't know who professor x is. in general, it's a little like having a constant radio on, although he does not listen to everything. still, if this is a hook of interest to you, here it is. also a permissions post.
