I've never heard of Discworld. What is it?

IT IS THE NAME OF THE WORLD THAT I COME FROM. IT IS A FLAT DISC THAT SITS ON THE TOP OF ELEPHANTS ON THE TOP OF A GREAT TURTLE THAT FLIES THROUGH SPACE. MOST PEOPLE HERE SEEM TO BE FROM ROUND WORLDS, WHICH IS QUITE ODD.

I've heard stories about flat worlds. Do people fall of the side and get eaten by vicious sea monsters if they go too far?

IF THEY GET TOO CLOSE THEY CAN FALL OFF THE EDGE AND INTO SPACE. THAT IS WHY THE LOCALS BUILT THE CIRCUMFENCE AROUND PARTS OF IT. ...WELL TO RETRIEVE ANY ITEMS THAT GET WASHED THERE.

SOMETIMES THEY LAND ON OTHER WORLDS THAT ARE PASSING BY BUT USUALLY I MEET THEM SOON AFTER THAT.

THAT DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU CONSIDER A MONSTER. WE HAVE QUITE A FEW DIFFERENT CREATURES ON THE DISC.

You have other worlds that get close to this Discworld?

Some people would call me a monster. I don't mind it. My family is different from everyone else back home and people fear what they don't understand.

PEOPLE CALL MANY THINGS MONSTERS. I TEND TO AVOID THE LABEL AS I DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH SUCH THINGS. I MEET EVERYONE AFTER A TIME. DWARFS, TROLLS, HUMANS, GOLEMS, VAMPIRES, WEREWOLVES, GODS...AND EVERYTHING ELSE....EVETUALLY.

Even Gods die? Have you met many dying Gods?

OF COURSE. THEY NEED PEOPLE TO EXIST AND IF PEOPLE STOP BELIEVING IN THEM, THEY WILL DIE.

I MEET ALL GODS THAT DIE AND MANY HAVE OVER THE CENTURIES.
