HEY BUDDY also blue goo
Cover up, will you? I think your daughter's had enough trauma the past few months to last her a lifetime. Or several.
[ No need to add to the list. Hook's already dressed, the only lingering trace of his ungraceful fall from the pods being a bit a dampness in his hair. The outfit's a bit off from what David last saw him in — all black, bit of leather, but it's an altogether modern take on it. He's graduated to wearing actual jeans, for one.
He stops a few paces off, expression somewhere between amused and sympathetic as he gestures to the room at large with his hook. ]
Welcome to space, mate.
WHAT UP BAE
and said voice's new wardrobe. ]
I see the pirate age called and finally got its costume back. Accessories not included. [ or someone taught him how to wrangle his chest hair. which is disturbing in and of itself. he doesn't have time to ponder over how or why this happened, he'll just be glad for small favors.
either way, david's pushing himself to stand while wrapping the projectile of a towel around his hips (thanks for that, by the way), and running a hand over his face to try to clear the blue space goo out of his eyes. ]
Think you could run that last part by me again? Mate. [ always said with more dry derision than anything else, but being a butt to hook isn't actually his main focus at the moment. that, and, well, he doesn't actually dislike the man as much as he once had.
the fact hook has warm and fuzzies for his daughter aside. ]

Space. Ship called Tranquility, which I'd like to think is a textbook definition of bad humor. And while I'm happy to answer any other questions you've got— [ A beat, good hand raising in a placating gesture that more or less translates to "please hold". ]
What's the last thing you remember?
[ His tone's light, like he may as well be asking about the weather. Given everything they've seen in their lifetimes, though, that isn't surprising. ]
