• ridiculously sweet and adorable, like. just look at this shit.
  
• a ruiner. her friends know it, she knows it... even the TQ is starting to realize it in some vague peripheral way, thanks to the fiasco in sirius's latest network post.
  
• the winner of supernatural bingo.
  
• really really bad at the whole brain-to-mouth (or brain-to-body) filter thing. like... truly awful at it. (especially to poor josh.) or maybe she has a filter and all of the shit she says is actually totally acceptable. we like to think it's the former.
  
• stupidly casual about all of the awful shit that is happening and/or has happened in her life.

Common haunts on the ship:

she lives on floor 5 next door to sirius, so that's that. she can also be found in the kitchen/laundry room of the same floor, the gardens... basically anywhere i want to shove her, honestly. THE BAR, definitely the bar

What do they do in their downtime?

both everything and nothing. if it's totally unproductive there's a high chance she's done it at least once. ALSO TINY HEDGEHOGS, i mean she doesn't do those thank god but she does many activities pertaining to and/or including them bc let's be real they're friggin adorable

Current people they hang out with:

she and kennex are a thing, and she and sirus are weird semi-platonic space-married (tho he contemplated divorce when they got drunk and talked about prolapsed vag), nick gant is her home slice and her 2 AM food buddy, stiles somehow manages to be the one who tells her not to make bad choices, ummm.... she keeps an eye out for mitchell even tho he's the reason she's got big dumb vamp scars on her neck, she and remus are pretty chill, same with dean, hmmmm. OH she is firmly bros with simon thanks to both being supernatural messes.


Looking for:
• more friends for her to harass. like literally - she takes all sorts (outgoing sorts, grumpy sorts, quiet/shy sorts, etc) and friend-adopts them and one day they walk into their room and she's laying on the spare bed complaining that they have no snacks and they wonder what their life's become. if this sounds appealing to you, let's do a thing!
  
• negative CR, because she may be sweet but she is 100% a ruiner and i feel like it's unrealistic that she has basically no real negative CR so far besides the ones that weren't her fault.
  
• people she can flirt with lbr, because sally basically fuels on human-to-human connection and that's doubly something she'd seek out when shit's gone non-catastrophically awry, that is to say: most of the time. it'd be largely harmless casual flirting because kennex but. yes.
  
• ANYTHING. for real. let's do a thing.

Any future plans for them?
i've actually got nothing besides punching odessa maybe, believe it or not. she's kind of drifting at the moment, which is fine because that's how she rolls but. yeah. i'm up for anything you guys might have in mind!

Personality:

she was the youngest zero-G mechanic in 52 years back on the ark, and she acts like it. if it's broken, she can fix it. no promises that she can operate it afterward, especially with a lot of this crazy high-tech TQ shit, but the fact stands. in canon, raven's the girl who rebuilt a 100-year-old shuttle out of scrap and made it to earth still missing a part just to reach the guy she loved, who turned out to be in love with someone else but whatever, she's mostly over it. raven throws herself into the biggest available projects in an emergency situation, and to her, failure isn't even a possibility. in less of a crisis situation, she likes building/rebuilding shit, whether it's some kind of communicator or some kind of high-powered explosive. raven's sharp, sassy in a dry kind of way, and tough as nails in a fight (even if she gets her ass handed to her), but when she's not in a situation that forces some kind of conflict she's actually really sweet.

as a note: she's been a lot more serious lately, her humor more cynical than mirth, less smiling etc. it's a complicated story involving a dead asshole she couldn't manage to save. she'll get over it soon enough, and it's not a huge change - she's still on the ball re: engineering, and she's not outright grouchy or anything.

Common haunts on the ship:

in engineering, in engineering, in engineering. like - it's not quite as bad now, but she was pulling 12s and 15s for weeks straight for a while there. she also lives on floor 33 with jasper, so when she is 'at home', 33's the kitchen/bathroom/etc she'd use.

What do they do in their downtime?

"downtime"? the fuck's that she's been working to get people more acclimated to the technicalities of the ship lately. whether it's getting them in a suit and out for a brief spacewalk or teaching them how to pilot a shuttle, it's something she's been doing since her latest network post.

Current people they hang out with:

first of all there's any member of engineering tbh. also jasper because they're roomies and can't seem to stay out of each other's projects. clarke & octavia too by virtue of castmates (and possibly charlotte depending on where char's staying??). she's in touch with the other department heads, esp. jax and L and wash, and she used to pull mechanic shifts in comms and flight so if your character has worked there since before january there's a good chance they'd know her at least by name and face. oh and elizabeth (a la bioshock) is the only real non-canonmate 'friend' she's got who has neither taken ship lessons from her nor worked for her or one of her allied departments.

Looking for:

• more engineers please god bring ENG more employees. (see 'future plans' for more deets.)
  
• friends to convince her to take a tiny bit more time off once in a while, because she needs to do that and also kind of has no real friends besides jasper, kind of elizabeth, and debateably octavia.
  
• people to fight with, possibly not physically because let's not shove her back into the brig quite yet, but she's more than ready to verbally smack a bitch down and/or be smacked down
  
• people to expand her skills/knowledge. teach her new things, anything even remotely handy!! (or neat. neat tricks are cool too.)

Any future plans for them?

HOKAY SO ENGINEERING. in the next couple of days, homework permitting, i'll finally be setting up an OOC info-hub for how ENG is run, what members of the department would typically do/experience, etc. there'll also be a copypasta for y'all to fill out if you work in engineering, just so we all know what to handwave on the day-to-day. c:

other than engineering, i don't have a huge amount planned - but then, that's understandable considering engineering is pretty much her life anymore. just like with sally though, i'd be 100% ready for anything y'all
might want to thread!

Anything else:

though it doesn't slow her down much by now, anyone who meets her in person would pretty easily spot her leg brace. she's wearing it basically at all times except for in her room, so. that's that.
