[ Allison doesn't know Malia that well -- only spoke to her once the last time she was on the ship and didn't speak to her at all before that. She knows that Malia is someone Stiles is... close to? But that's about the gist of it. Allison's also not going to let her wander out on her own in the hallways, werecoyote or no. ] It's kind of the ship's MO.

[ She gives Malia a small half smile. ] Malia, right? I'm Allison. I'm a friend of Stiles'.

[ She doesn't expect Malia to know who she is. ]

[ She doesn't recognise the other girl in the traditional sense. Malia never had the chance to meet Allison, between everything that was happening with her at Eichen House and learning to be an Actual Human, and Allison + co handling the nogitsune, there'd never been the opportunity. She's heard about her though, of course she has. Allison had been such a huge part of so many of their lives that it would be impossible to spend long with any of the Beacon Hills gang without hearing some anecdote or mention of the recently-deceased archer.

Still, it's kind of weird, right? Malia knows of her, even knows her damn scent - certainly recognises Stiles' on her - but they've never even so much as said hi before. It's definitely weird. ]

Allison, [ she says, and there's no subtleties in how heavily the name drops from her mouth. ] Not that I want to be the bearer of bad news or anything, but aren't you like- dead? Does that mean I am too?
