Yeah you know. After 140 years of doing it, whats a few more now for Lexi :D
Even Lexi - who should KNOW BETTER! Will see Elijah as the only person she could potentially trust to keep his word.
Lets just hope she doesn't get it in her head to try and fix Klaus as well cause we all know how well that works out for people
