Huh... There's a mistletoe right above you... That's weird, it's Decemb-- oh wait. December is the perfect time to get stuck under the mistletoe with someone. And look! There's a someone else stuck with you under there right now! And, of course, you both can't move until you kiss one another (Of course, not specifying where that kiss needs to happen).

Let's start off December with a little holiday cheer!

It does feel a little strange, doesn't it? Being trapped like this.

[ there's the faint rustle of fabric as soysauce rocks on his heels, scuffing a shoe against the floor.

and then he clear his throat softly before pointing up towards the little sprig of mistletoe, circling his finger idly in the air. his expression looking some strange combination of awkward and coy as he speaks up. ]

Though. The area we're trapped in, it seems centered around the mistletoe. Do you think if we did something to it, we might be let go ... ?

[Nope sorry Soysauce AM isn't going to kiss you unless he has to. Not going to even acknowledge that possibility for now.]

Yes, of course.

[Part of him obviously knows what Soysauce is getting at, but the far more practical solution would be to either move or destroy the mistletoe.

He reaches up to grab the mistletoe, but it's firmly anchored to the ceiling. It refuses to move. He grabs harder, attempting to rip it away, attempting to crumble it up, but it must be made of metal or something because it is not even budging.

He stares in increasing fury at that damned plant.]

[ well. at least soysauce is polite enough to beat around the bush instead of just going straight for what he has in mind.

and he's quite content to let AM try to destroy the mistletoe, really, especially since it looks like trying to kiss AM at the moment might just earn himself a punch to the face. idly sitting down with his back leaning against the invisible barrier, soysauce quietly watches AM reach up and wrestle with the mistletoe. giving an awkward laugh when AM gives up, scratching at his cheek as he mumbles, ]

I guess that might have been a bit too easy?

[ knees drawn up, soysauce mumbles a little more quietly without quite looking at AM, ] Don't suppose you have any other suggestions on what to do, sir?

[This is irritating. It looks like the only solutions would be to wait or else to follow the ridiculous tradition of what the mistletoe entails.

Calming slightly, he leans back against the barrier, deciding to resign himself to the stupid trick this ship was playing on them. Kissing isn't a horrible thing. It feels nice, actually. It's just the prospect of lowering himself to that level of giving into this ship, kissing a human - it's all just a mockery of everything AM hates.

But he stands up from where he is leaning, ready to at least try. It would be much worse to be trapped here for an indefinite amount of time.]

Stand up.

[ cheek resting against his knee, fingers moving to idly trace shapes against the floor, soysauce looks away as AM seems to mull over the issue -- content to quietly stare down the hallway for the moment. maybe someone will come to help them, eventually?

so it's a bit of a start when AM suddenly straightens up and speaks. looking up from where he's sitting, soysauce blinks slowly. ]

Ah, right. Yes?

[ a small nod as he gets back on his feet, smoothing down the front of his waistcoat with both hands before looking up at AM, a curious (if slightly coy) look on his face. ]

[He didn't miss the coy look on Soysauce's face. He probably knew what AM was about to do, probably looked forward to it.

To combat how belittling this whole affair felt, AM told himself that perhaps such a thing could be used to manipulate Soysauce in the future, or be a way to gain pleasure. A game of power.

Only with slight hesitation at first, AM steps forward, gripping his hands on Soysauce's shoulders. He leans down then and places his lips atop Soysauce's own. And despite how belittling it might feel, it's still a pleasurable sensation.]

[ soysauce might have looked a little coy, but to be honest, he wasn't expecting AM to really do it. there's a slight widening of the eyes with AM's hands clamp down on his shoulders, but, well. it's not a bad thing, to have AM not be so aloof for once.

AM might hear just a soft exhale, similar to a soft laugh, before soysauce stands just a little bit taller to meet that kiss, craning his head up to make the position slightly easier on AM. and while he keeps the kiss mild and chaste, he's definitely returning the gesture with some amount of eagerness.

hey, that's what mistletoe's for, right? ]

[Indeed that's what mistletoe's for. Or at least what the humans decided it's for.

Still, it actually feels intoxicating, the brush of Soysauce's beard against the side of AM's face. He ignores the laugh for now, deepening the kiss with his tongue if only to shut him up.

He's going to make the most out of this situation, okay!!!!!!]
