I didn't figure the group even noticed I was gone. [ She knows they did. Shane must've, at least--who the hell else could he count on to back him? But she figures she gets one jab at the way the group up and left her, and that was it.

Especially because she's glancing around again, then grudgingly admitting: ]

So this is all ... charming and homey, really. It's got that certain unmistakable sense of kidnapped and put in goo to it. Something about the lack of windows.
