"My end of the bargain," the alien grunted, still not moving, even as the human approached. He's got one leg folded neatly over the other, obscuring one of his ankles from view. "Apparently this species lives in the river; my guess is that thick exoskeleton protects them from the acid somehow. Pah! Still can't compare to my own armor, stupid things." Algidus sneered, happy to boast about still being on top of the food chain. "Anyways, there's a lot of meat underneath that shell. No more leaves for you, unless you've gotten a taste for those now."
