She knew full well that were her demands any more specific and divergent from his wishes than simple survival, he wouldn't likely deign to help. It put her to thinking that she was going to be doing a lot more work in this particular alliance than Algidus was... she might have to think up some homework on the side for him, even if it had nothing to do with actual requirements that might develop.
