Cats always landed on their feet. Selina Kyle was no different. She'd fallen on all fours out of the pod, coughing and choking, and disoriented. This wasn't any place she knew, she knew that right away. Maybe it wasn't even in Gotham- but she doubted that very much, given the sorts of people she glimpsed. Oh, and she did glimpse. She was good at blending in with the crowd, watching, never seen. And she did just that, rising to her feet, and keeping quiet as she watched and learned.
She learned there were showers, and she took one. She also learned there were lockers, and she found one, that had the same numbers as her tattoo, carved over a few scars she'd had since who-knows-when. All that was left was to get dressed and, she supposed, find the lifts, or whomever had brought her here. Get some information. Because there was really only so much you could learn without asking.
But god forbid she appeared green around these people. They'd be looking for weaknesses, and she wasn't going to show any. No fear, no emotions. Just Selina against The World, like it always was.]
