it's not that she doesn't recognise any of it - on the contrary, she knows the highlighters are hers, and she recognised the slant of writing that comes with lydia's notes - but figuring out why these things are what arrived with her is proving a little more difficult. reaching in to pull the pages of gibberish out, something else slides to the floor with them.
something being the set of chains and handcuffs attached to the ends of them. maybe that should be a little embarrassing, but malia just squints at them for a moment before smiling, relieved, and gathering them up to shove back inside. okay, now for clothes.
