She stands a few paces away from him, the tiniest bit of uncertainty mixed in with the relief in her voice. After doing a bit of searching around she's slightly beyond What the fuck? and heading into Is this powers bullshit? territory. Plus she's already gotten dressed in her black jumpsuit and is holding what appears to be a shiny, red fire extinguisher. One of the presents she found in her locker. Of course. ]

I've been looking for those myself, without much success. I'm afraid I'm not at my best when recently ejected nude from a pod and surrounded by strangers.

[He sounds nothing but relieved as he recognises her, but that's quickly replaced by a look of concern. He still doesn't know what's happening, and if Alisha's here he's taking that as further proof his selection was deliberate.]

[Whoever 'they' might be. Whatever the situation, he'll probably be better dealing with it when he's dressed. And Alisha's jumpsuit doesn't seem to have caused her any problems. He starts to put his on.]

Not in all of them. In most of them they don't. Even when they do it usually depends on the episode.

[The first thing to shoot through Adelle's mind is that she was taken by surprise and put into the attic. She half-expected something fiendishly horrible to jump out at her and soak her mind in adrenalin until she died. She might not know all the specifics of the tech, but she knew that people (normal people, anyway) do not come back from the attic.

She had been cold and hard as nails when she sent people to this place and now, it seemed likely she had pushed back against Rossum one too many times.

Their plans must have all failed, their agenda defeated and any hope for the world gone.

That is, until she realised that she had been trying to think of a way out and as yet, nothing had attacked her. She kept her cool and collected mask on, showing no emotion at all. She had to think, what would be happening now? What was their game plan?

Trying to get out, Adelle noted the new tattoo on her arm. It seemed likely that she was indeed some kind of prisoner, tagged and identifiable by this marking. It would prove an obstacle but she could get around those with the right strategy - information was now her most valuable weapon.

With a few steps and some quick rummaging, Adelle found some personal items and a uniform. She did not wish to don it, but it was that or go in her underthings, so she pulled it on with distaste.

Time to scope out this place and get back to her House, hopefully those in her care would not all be dead by the time she found her way out of here.

An automated voice sounded.]

Please take the blue lift to the passenger quarters.

OH HI THERE.

[He may be a little jumpy - inconsistent shelling and gunfire tended to rattle a guy's nerves - so the sudden voice right in his ear has him shouting and jerking away.

Hawkeye raised his hand, one finger pointed right at the stranger.]

Yeah, I found a stranger who scared the living hell out of me.

[But then he started to laugh because, really, the guy looked harmless and he trusted people too easily when they had bright puppy-dog eyes.]

I don't normally startle that easily, forgive me for screaming in your face.

[She's questioning, but not suspicious. She accepts the towel, but wraps it around her body rather than drying her hair with it.]

I don't have any lists. I know about them because I watch them.

[He's already seen all things space about six billion times. He doesn't need lists, Nathan. Gosh. He may be smiling a little, though. Even though Nathan can't see him. May being the key word there.]

[ Andrea was one of the first out of the pods, so by the time he's had time to wonder where his crossbow is, Andrea's clothed and on her way back through. She wants to take a look at that pod she fell out of. See if things make any more sense then.

Then she's spotting Daryl. ]

I guess that tells me whether or not you're alive. [ She's thinking back to Merle and his questioning. Her tone was a little dry, but really, that's just one more thing on the list of things she's using to be okay with any of this.

Meanwhile, if it were anyone else she'd be offering to grab a towel--Andrea can spot a few piled down at the end of the row (someone must've thought ahead)--but this is Daryl, and he'd probably just reject it anyway. ]

[if being in a new environment wasn't weird enough, getting slapped and then nearly vomited on by Netherlands as one of the first things to happen, definitely took the cake]

[Of all the faces he expected to see here, this isn't one of them. He's not sure who this is. If it's a shape shifter, himself from a different time, or even a clone. He still doesn't know why he woke up in the tube. Maybe that was why.

Whichever of those options it is, Simon's inclined to be suspicious. He knows his future self would never have revealed himself to him unmasked unless it were completely unavoidable, and he's sure he would feel the same way regardless of his point in time. He knows it's possible that's what's happened given the circumstances, but there's something unfamiliar that tells Simon that isn't the case. It's something he can't put his finger on, but he knows. He's sure he isn't imagining it. Whoever he is, whatever he is, Simon's almost certain this isn't him.]

[ He's still wiping the last of the blue stuff off his face, but he nods at her, if a little bemused. ]

I don't know a Perry. Although I can report that the anxious feeling that accompanies discovering that you've accidentally crashed a party you weren't invited to translates very well to space.
